BIO
I am a passionate and accomplished lawyer, who has been practicing civil law with a focus on insurance and business litigation since 2007. In 2018, I established The Fanning Law Firm,
where I am the founding member and managing attorney.

Over the course of my career, I have contributed to several noteworthy publications and have consistently earned recognition for my achievements. Super Lawyers, a rating service that selects top-performing attorneys in the U.S., has named me a Rising Star every year since 2015. The San Diego Daily Transcript has also nominated and awarded me several titles, including Top Attorney in Insurance Law in 2013 and 2014.

In 2002, I graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Public Administration. Interested in studying law, I then moved to the west coast to attend the University of San Diego School of Law in Southern California. During my time at law school, I spent a summer studying international law in Dublin, Ireland, and I soon after joined the San Diego chapter of the American Ireland Fund, an organization dedicated to supporting Irish community projects. In 2005, I earned my Juris Doctor degree, and by 2006, I completed my Masters of Laws in Taxation.

For the past 14 years, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge in the legal field, working as a non-equity partner and senior associate. I have covered complex insurance cases in State and Federal Courts across the nation, as I second- and third-chaired trials in the U.S.District Court in Houston, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and California Superior Court. My cases have reached impressive verdicts and settlements, some of which fall in the $30 million range. In more recent years, I founded The Fanning Law Firm, where I oversee every single file and am dedicated to supporting my clients and resolving their legal disputes..
